"I finally tried this strip mall joint that opened in October 2023, and to say I’m impressed is an understatement; the food reminded me of the comforting, hearty cafeteria meals I ate when I lived in Khon Kaen, Thailand — clearly made with love. On my most recent visit, I had the kao moo dang, which contained a trio of Thai barbecue pork, crispy pork belly, and Chinese sausage, all served over rice with a sweet and salty gravy. I also added the fried chicken and sticky rice, which had a formidable crunch and was showered with crispy shallots. For my next visit, I’m eyeing the boat noodles and the Mama hot pot, a dish made with Thailand’s most beloved instant noodles and loaded with fresh seafood — I can’t wait to go back again." - Eater Staff
