Yaya Coastal Cuisine Opens in Miami, Florida | Eater Miami

"Set on a stunning bayfront location with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic water and skyline views, YAYA Coastal Cuisine blends Mediterranean cuisine with a Miami twist. Led by Angel Febres (behind local spots like Racket, Drunken Dragon, Foxhole, and Casa Tiki) and with former Prime 112 executive chef Todd Zimmer running the kitchen, the menu emphasizes seafood—crudo and grilled head-on prawns—alongside hot mezze such as flaming saganaki and crispy zucchini and eggplant. Entrées range from “Uni in Seawater” and a Maine lobster cobb salad to a bone-in ribeye buttero with salsa verde and a whole Spanish dorade with watercress and fennel. Cocktails are creative and easy to drink, including a Mediterranean Martini made with olive oil-washed vodka, red bell pepper juice, basil simple syrup, and lemon juice, and a Honeydew Cooler of vodka, crème de banana, lime juice, and coconut water. Designed by Saladino Design Studios, the space includes a full bar, a lounge, a main dining room with seating for 110, outdoor seating for 80, a terrace, and a private dining room for up to 40. As a waterfront spot it also offers a private membership YAYA Club with 14 dockage spots at the YAYA Marina and exclusive private dining access for members.
