"After serving traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean fare since opening in 2018, I read that siblings and owners Tamar Telahun and Simon Gebru announced on social media that Feedel Bistro on Briarcliff Road closed with its last day on Saturday, May 27; the announcement hinted they may be up to some “new culinary endeavors,” asked patrons to stay tuned, and suggested they may remain in the Briarcliff Road space. The restaurant was known for a congenial atmosphere and for offering vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian dishes such as mushroom and chickpea tibs, tofu sagla spris, sambusas stuffed with lentils, diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos, and a whole branzino served with red or brown lentils or yellow split peas. Eater reached out to Telahun and Gebru for more information on their future plans." - Beth McKibben
