"Mickey’s Diner on West Seventh (under different owners than the Mickey’s diner in downtown St. Paul) is one of the Twin Cities’ rare 24-hour diners. This place feels frozen in amber: Breakfast is served at any time of the day, but the lunch and dinner dishes, made from “pre-war” recipes, are those kind of rarefied diner classics that have never gone out of style.
