"Bar Pigalle takes a queue from Detroit’s reputation as the Paris of the Midwest with this dramatically renovated space set on the ground level of the historic Carlton Lofts in Brush Park. Behind the scenes of the restaurant are hospitality veterans Joseph Allerton and Travis Fourmont (of the shuttered Michael Symon’s Roast), along with chef Norm Valenti. The Eater Award-winning spot is named after the Parisian neighborhood Quartier Pigalle — home of the Moulin Rouge.
