"Almost a year after it replaced Kushiyaki Inyoon on Spring Mountain Road, the Chinatown bunsik Tang Tang Tang is expanding southwest with a second location that will occupy 1,760 square feet at the South Rainbow Square retail center on Rainbow Boulevard near Wigwam Avenue, almost eight miles south of Chinatown. Promising to be “coming soon” and confidently predicting it will serve the “most delicious bowl in the world,” the modest Korean bunsik has earned a very loyal fan base for its focus on traditional cooking methods and its ox bone broth. On the menu are beef brisket, ox knee, and oxtail soups; barbecue options including pork bulgogi and grilled beef short ribs; hot pots such as the spicy sausage and kimchi; and noodle dishes like spicy chilled buckwheat and glass noodle with sauteed vegetables. The new spot will replace the shuttered Korean barbecue concept MamaOH and is similar in size to its current operation." - Bradley Martin
