"Almost a year since Tang Tang Tang replaced Kushiyaki Inyo on Spring Mountain Road, the Korean soup specialists are expanding to the southwest. The second location will take over 1,760 square feet, a similar size to its current operation, at the South Rainbow Square retail center on Rainbow Boulevard, close to Wigwam Avenue and almost eight miles south of Chinatown. It replaces the shuttered Korean barbecue concept MamaOH. Promising to be “coming soon,” Tang Tang Tang is also confidently predicting it will serve the “most delicious bowl in the world.” Describing itself as a “bunsik,” a modest Korean restaurant serving inexpensive choices, the Chinatown original has earned a very loyal fan base for its focus on traditional cooking methods and its ox bone broth. On the menu, beef brisket, ox knee, and oxtail soups, barbecue options including pork bulgogi and grilled beef short ribs, hot pots such as the spicy sausage and kimchi, plus noodle dishes of spicy chilled buckwheat, or glass noodle with sauteed vegetables." - Bradley Martin
