"Led by former Top Chef contestant and king of smoke B.J. Smith, the tavern has launched daily brunch service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., loading blistered tortillas with eggs and fire-roasted salsas and offering libations like Modelo cheladas and bloody marys. The brunch features ridiculous breakfast tacos—each with scrambled eggs, cheddar, pickled jalapeños, and fire-roasted salsa—with smoky filling choices such as smoked brisket, pulled pork, or avocado. For heartier eaters there's a breakfast burrito stocked with brisket chile verde, barbecue beans, fries, scrambled eggs, and cheddar, and the same brisket chile verde appears on smothered chile quiles (a breakfast nacho–like dish) topped with chile lime, queso fresco, pickled onions, and fried eggs." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
