"Once known for slinging lattes and breakfast sandwiches, this small Allston cafe has definitively closed: a “closed” sign on the front door, a locked entry, and no employees or customers inside confirm the shutdown. The closure follows earlier rumors in fall 2016 that it intended to close (rumors it later reversed), and a recent run of increasingly bizarre, first-person Facebook posts in which the cafe seemed to suggest sentience and warned of a machine-led, AI-powered human demise.
