"Inside the Anaheim Packing House, Zabon Ramen is the U.S. offshoot of chef Tetsuro Ishino’s 1978 Shinjuku original (and his Torrance location), offering late-night ramen with options like spicy miso and vegetarian styles alongside the namesake Zabon bowl served in a southern Japanese–style broth made with pork, chicken, and soy sauce. Bowls are finished with charred chashu, fried onions, and lots of cabbage, and this Anaheim outpost also serves sushi rolls that aren’t available at the Torrance location." - Jenn Tanaka
