Sugar and Spoon Opens a Permanent Location in the U District | Eater Seattle

"Near campus, I discovered a light blue and pink walkup window at 4518 University Way NE where Sugar and Spoon — an offshoot of the popular food truck — has opened a permanent U District outpost. They serve egg-free, heat-treated flour cookie dough in a variety of flavors, such as oatmeal cookie, chocolate chip, and a seasonal pumpkin pie, available in cups or waffle cones with the option to add ice cream. Sugar and Spoon got its start last October as a colorful food truck with weekly appearances in Westlake Park, gradually built a following, and has partnered with fellow dessert shops for occasional special promotions. Cookie-dough-specific shops are rare in the Seattle area, so this spot feels especially convenient for college students with a sweet tooth." - Gabe Guarente
