Taqueria El Buen Pastor Debuts in Henderson | Eater Vegas

"I noticed a local favorite for street-inspired Mexican food has arrived in Henderson, marking the fourth brick-and-mortar expansion of its wildly popular North Las Vegas food truck. The 2,095-square-foot Taqueria El Buen Pastor sits inside the shuttered former Baja Fresh on the southwest side of Mall Ring Circle at the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road; it's a counter-service space with plenty of indoor seating and a self-serve area for condiments and salsas. Even without a publicly announced fixed opening schedule, the menu already includes breakfast specials — three $10.50 breakfast selections including huevos rancheros made with eggs over hard in tomato sauce, rice, beans and four fresh, handmade tortillas. Regular lunch and dinner offerings include $9 burritos, hurrache or tortas, $5.50 sopes, $13 chicken flautas with rice and beans, $11.50 asada fries or nachos, and tacos (lengua, cabeza, chorizo, pollo, asada and tripa) priced between $2.50 and $3 each." - Bradley Martin
