"Located at 1008 Fatherland Street in East Nashville, Limo Peruvian Eatery launched its soft opening on Friday, January 26 in the former Far East space. Run by chefs Marcio Florez (the Inka Trailer) and Mauricio Sulay, they’re still working on a liquor license for a future full bar but are currently serving a full menu that highlights traditional Peruvian dishes: anticuchos (veal hearts marinated in anticuchera sauce); ceviches including “the Devil” served with Nashville hot leche de tigre, rocoto sauce, sweet potatoes, fish, and choclo; and lomo saltado (beef with potatoes and rice). For lunch they offer Peruvian-style sandwiches such as choripan (a grilled brat with mayo and chimichurri) and pan con chicharon (crispy pork belly and fried sweet potatoes in a roll). Breakfast is served Sundays at 9 a.m. and features the Peruvian Lurin—a platter of French bread, Peruvian chicharron, sweet potato with criolla sauce, and a tamal. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 11 a.m.–9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.–11:30 p.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m.–7 p.m." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
