"ABSteak, a restaurant by Vegas-based chef Akira Back, originally debuted in February 2020 and is reopening with a revamped menu focused on high-end Korean barbecue. Due to its location at the southern end of the Beverly Center’s ground floor, ABSteak was unable to do any outdoor dining during the pandemic. The interior remains sleek and modern, with new local partner Robert Kim helping to revitalize the restaurant with a more approachable menu familiar to Korean barbecue fans. The menu includes premium meats like A5 olive wagyu, marinated galbi, Australian wagyu ribeye, prime boneless short rib, and kurobuta pork belly, along with traditional banchan and kimchi. The restaurant also offers a variety of starters, stews, and intricate cocktails. ABSteak is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and until 11 p.m. on weekends." - Matthew Kang
