"The retailer offers 14 days of quarantine pay and 14 days of 100% pay for confirmed cases, has waived normal absenteeism rules, and provides up to 30 days paid leave for older or otherwise vulnerable employees; it also offers 20 days of backup family care with waived copays. All hourly employees received an extra $2/hour (extended through early July) and some team leads got bonuses. Stores require employees to wear face coverings and provide disposable masks, have installed plexiglass barriers, increased cleaning, sanitize carts and lanes between uses, and limit traffic when needed.
