Seattle’s Best Dive Bars | Eater Seattle

"At the northernmost end of Broadway Ave East, the Deluxe has for decades been quietly serving solid burgs and stiff drinks under a pretty pressed-tin ceiling. Once a haunt for students from nearby Cornish, the bar has been less busy since the conservatory moved most of its operations down to South Lake Union. Although the menu has been recently snazzed up but brunch offerings and craft cocktails, the Deluxe is still a chill, slightly crusty respite from the loud crowds on the Hill. Come here to shoot pool and have a Rainier." - Meg van Huygen
