La Feria Owners to Open Cata Vino Mercado and Wine Bar in Detroit - Eater Detroit
"Cata Vino Mercado and Wine Bar, a new sibling to La Feria, is set to open on Cass Avenue. It offers a selection of sherry, wine, and imported tinned seafood from Spain. The bar and market, developed by La Feria partners Pilar Baron Hidalgo, Elias Khalil, and Naomi Khalil, aims to celebrate Spanish dining culture. Located next door to La Feria at 4130 Cass Ave, it shares a wall and doorway with the restaurant. The venue seats 35 people and features a casual feel with portions of wooden wine cases lining the bar and cut barrels on the walls. The menu includes a short list of five cocktails, a rotating list of red and white wines, seven different styles of sherry, and build-your-own charcuterie and cheese boards.
