"This 3-year-old brewery in North Phoenix’s Deer Valley neighborhood punches above its weight, pouring solidly made beer. It’s fun, straightforward, a great neighborhood brewery. Lake Pleasant has extensive knowledge of and impressive skill with German and Belgian beer. They execute classics like maibock, schwarzbier (black lager) and Bavarian hefeweizen (Southern German wheat beer).
