"The New Center location of Zo’s Good Burger, the Dearborn-based chain founded by Zo Olabi, began taking orders in mid-January next to City Wings and is the brand’s third metro-Detroit outpost and first franchise. I found it serves halal burgers and loaded fries and offers seven burger styles including the flagship “Good Burger”—built on a pretzel bun with fried mozzarella sticks, American cheese, onion rings, and special sauce—plus substitutions for chicken or crispy chicken patties and a build-your-own section. The menu also includes wraps, loaded French fries, and chicken fingers. The chain traces back to Olabi selling burgers from a Dearborn gas station in 2013, rebranding and opening in Garden City in 2014, and relocating the original to a larger Michigan Avenue building in 2015. The New Center spot is at 2894 W Grand Blvd. and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m." - Brenna Houck
