Dearborn Chain Zo’s Good Burger Is Open in New Center - Eater Detroit
"New Center has welcomed another restaurant to its ranks. Growing Dearborn-based chain Zo’s Good Burger began taking orders for halal burgers and loaded fries at 2894 W Grand Blvd. next to City Wings in mid-January. The New Center restaurant is the third outpost of the fast-casual chain in metro Detroit and the company’s first franchise location. Founder Zo Olabi originally started slinging burgers out of a Dearborn gas station in 2013. A year later the company revamped its brand and opened a new location in Garden City before relocating the original establishment to a larger building along Michigan Avenue in 2015. Zo’s Good Burger offers seven styles of burgers including the flagship “Good Burger” featuring a pretzel bun, fried mozzarella sticks, American cheese, onion rings, and special sauce. Customers can substitute out chicken patties and crispy chicken patties for any of the burgers. There’s also a build-your-own burger section on the menu for those that want to customize even more.
