As Suspected, LA’s Slanted Door Dreams Are Officially Dead | Eater LA

"At City Market South I learned that the development had been the intended home for Phan’s LA Slanted Door but that the project is now dead—the development’s reps confirmed the restaurant will not be opening there or anywhere in Los Angeles and it’s no longer listed on the developer’s site. The complex did land other tenants: Rossoblu opened there (arriving in May 2017), Cognoscenti Coffee keeps everyone awake, and chefs Steve Livigni, Pablo Moix, and Antonia Lofaso were reported to be close to opening a cocktail bar and restaurant on site that summer." - Farley Elliott
