"The New York City ice cream shop with a cult following is opening its first Texas location in Rice Village and will celebrate its grand opening with $1 scoops from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on opening day. The new shop will offer the brand’s scratch-made dairy and vegan ice creams, feature a bright yellow food truck cruising Rice Village ahead of the opening, and launch a Houston-specific flavor — Yellow Rose Bourbon Pecan Pie — made with local Yellow Rose Distilling.
