"Reopened quietly on East Burnside on May 6, the dive-bar legend B-Side Tavern has returned, largely sticking to the schtick it was known for before it closed in 2017. In September 2017 a fire started on the deck and traveled through the interior, forcing owner Tanya P. Frantzen to close; after about a year of relative radio silence the team announced plans to reopen and filed permits for a new patio.
