"Living close to the airport, I finally visited this aviation-themed food hall and events space for a family birthday and it proved a big hit with the under-10 crowd: kids loved frolicking on the huge astroturf area or the playground while massive jumbo jets land a half-mile away. The food was better than needed for the setting, with hefty double cheeseburgers and fried chicken and waffles big enough to share, and I was pleased to see Bludso’s Barbecue among the vendors — the smoked meats aren’t quite as good as the preparations at Bludso’s on La Brea and in Santa Monica, but they’re perfectly adequate for this kind of venue. For larger groups seeking an easy, truly kid-friendly gathering spot that can be catered to, I can’t think of an easier option in Los Angeles." - Eater Staff
