Jamaican restaurant Big Jerk plans to open a second location on the west side of Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Self-described "the nicest jerks in Vegas," Big Jerk was founded by former Denver Broncos strong safety Quinton Carter and his friend Tramaine Stephens, evolving from a 2017 food truck into a restaurant at the Silverado Crossing retail center near the intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Bermuda Road in 2018; a second location is planned at 2800 W. Sahara Ave., opening in early 2021. The menu features jerk chicken and jerk on wings, pork ribs, plantains, yucca fries, curry shrimp, and Caribbean stew, along with traditional ackee and saltfish, oxtail, and curry goat; family meals are available with a whole chicken (optional ribs) plus sides and plantains. Pineapple ginger is noted as a favorite drink, the Silverado Ranch spot offers a patio, and the new westside location will include a full bar." - Susan Stapleton
