"On York Boulevard in Highland Park, I learned that the Skaf’s family has secured an “official” Highland Park location at 4757 York Boulevard after signing a lease on the corner of York and Armandale and taking space in Occidental College’s new Oxy Arts building. Skaf’s opened its first location in North Hollywood in 1999 and another in Glendale in 2007; the family maintains a strong foothold in kebab-heavy Southern California, and brothers Chris and Daniel Skaf—who also own Rockbird—are behind this new outpost." - Mona Holmes
