Where to Eat and Drink on New Year’s Eve in Boston

"Italian favorite Mida is hosting a couple of different parties at its spots around the city. Each location is serving up a $75 prix fixe menu for New Year’s Eve, complete with fancy truffle add-ons and optional wine pairings. In Newton, Mida is hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party with free pizza slices and activities for kids under 10 and, crucially, specialty Tito’s cocktails for the parents. In East Boston, there’s a party starting at 10 p.m. that includes front-row seats to the Boston Harbor fireworks show at 12 a.m., passed hors d’oeuvres, and a sparkling wine toast at midnight. Reservations are available here." - Erika Adams
