"Per Washingtonian, around eight or nine agents dressed in a mix of plain clothes and gun-toting ICE gear swarmed a Spring Valley restaurant right before lunch service started. "They all came in all of the public entrances at the same time," owner Bo Blair told the publication. He added that the restaurant could not produce its I-9 employment verification forms because they’re stored at its corporate office, not at the restaurant. "We were under the impression that they were focusing on trying to find criminals," Blair told Washingtonian. "And this is just a whole new level of harassment to our hard-working, law-abiding employees." The group's CEO Marisa Casey said, "They made it pretty public that they’re coming back to the restaurant on Monday [to collect the forms], which is pretty unnerving to the staff, obviously," and added, "We also don’t want them to go back to our restaurants scare everybody." Blair told Eater he’s going on NBC4 this evening to discuss the incident." - Tierney Plumb
