"Debuted in December from James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Angela Pinkerton, an alum of Eleven Madison Park, this bakery occupies a former service station in Kingston, New York. Offerings include a pecan sticky bun, jalapeño monkey bread, English muffin breakfast sandwiches, and — starting next month — lunch service. The pies she was known for at the Bay Area’s Pie Society, which she closed in 2023, will also be available, including a passionfruit meringue with bay leaf custard, plus many other sweets; gluten-free and vegan options are available." - Nadia Chaudhury
