"Mad Rex is a post-apocalyptic themed restaurant and virtual reality lounge in Fishtown, Philadelphia. The venue features a dystopian decor, complete with weapons, costumed mannequin torsos, and a graffiti-covered helicopter. It offers a unique experience where diners can enjoy a blood red rye IPA called Mad Rex IPA, brewed specifically for the restaurant by Blueprint Brewing Co. The restaurant also provides a virtual reality set-up for patrons to take a tour of Blueprint’s brewing facility.
