"Decades-old French bistro La Mirabelle has closed its doors after 37 years on the Upper West Side. The restaurant has been closed since July 2020, when its owners announced they would be temporarily closing 'due to the economic effects of the pandemic and the CDC guidelines.' Annick and Emmanuel LeDouaron opened the French bistro at 333 West 86th Street in 1984. The restaurant relocated to its most recent home a few blocks away on 102 West 86th Street after losing its lease in 1998, where daughter Nathalie LeDouaron Cadou and husband Loic Cadou have run the restaurant since 2015. La Mirabelle’s latest adieu is really more of an à bientôt. In a post to Facebook this week, the couple shared that they are currently looking for a new location for La Mirabelle and hope to reopen 'in the near future.'" - Luke Fortney
