"DFW-based chain Fat Straws, known for its chewy, colorful boba teas, will debut a new location in Richardson this week. The newest Fat Straws is set to officially debut at 1251 West Campbell Road, Suite 230 on June 1, after quietly opening its doors for limited hours earlier this week. Founded in 2002, Fat Straws is a major player in the DFW boba tea scene, known for its Taiwanese-style milk teas spiked with perfectly chewy tapioca pearls, jellies, and more accoutrements. At the new outpost, Fat Straws brings a new pastry offering to DFW in mochi doughnuts.
