Popular Pizzeria Planting Third Location in Point Loma | Eater San Diego

"Joining its original eatery in Pacific Beach and a North Park spot that opened last year, I’m reporting that Mr. Moto Pizza House will open a third location in Point Loma on Friday, August 10 as part of a mixed-use development at the intersection of Rosecrans Street and Shelter Island Drive. Founded in 2015, the local pizzeria will operate in a 1,250-square-foot space with hours of 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 11 a.m.–2:30 a.m. Friday–Saturday. The menu revolves around New York-style pizzas available whole or by the slice from a prominent 10-foot display case, with at least 15 varieties plus a rotating “pizza of the month.” Specialty pies include the Mamma Moto (mascarpone base with burrata, truffle oil, parsley, cherry tomatoes, and garlic paste) and the red-sauced Mission Blvd (fresh spinach, roasted tomato, artichoke, and caramelized onions).
