"Under new ownership since 2018, partners Adrian Amosa and Kirk Cartozian have transformed a former Paul Martin’s American Grill space at 455 S. Lake Avenue with whitewashed brick walls and a signature gaucho mural, preparing to open just after Thanksgiving with a soft opening followed by a grand opening on November 29. The concept sticks to an Argentine, meat-forward menu — expect a wide selection of fire-grilled cuts (New York strips, porterhouses, pollo a la brasa, wagyu ribeye) and a wood-fired prime rib slow-cooked for six hours — plus empanadas, shared plates, a solid wine list, and cocktails. Having reopened all locations in February with sales rivaling 2019, the team will operate at reduced 50% capacity until January while they settle in and wait on delayed silverware and glassware; hours are planned Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 11 a.m.–11:30 p.m., with later service if demand warrants." - Mona Holmes
