"As part of the pre-NFL Draft business boom, Gilly’s Clubhouse & Rooftop bar opened up in April 2024. The massive 10,000 square foot space might’ve proved a challenge but Dan Gilbert’s team made it work, dedicating the sports bar to the Quicken Loans cofounder’s son Nick, who passed away in May 2023. The sports bar was Nick’s long-held dream, and guests can now share in his love of Spartan basketball and Detroit-inspired drinks, like the Motown Señorita margarita, while watching games on the giant screen with a custom wood-paneled backdrop." - Mickey Lyons
