Untamed Spirits, LA’s First Women’s Sports Bar, Is Opening in Silver Lake | Eater LA
"A new Silver Lake bar on Hyperion Avenue is opening June 7 (coinciding with Pride month) in the former second-story Trophy Wife space and is being promoted as Los Angeles’s first bar dedicated to showing women’s sports. Owned by spouses Stephanie and Janie Ellingwood with a menu from chef Jude Shin, it will serve Asian-influenced snacks such as kimchi bokkeumbap and cocktails inspired by the owners’ Vietnamese American heritage and Shin’s Korean American roots.
