"A sprawling 7,000-square-foot North Italia opened at the newly renovated wing of The Mall at Green Hills on Wednesday, August 28, bringing its coast-to-coast menu of pastas, pizzas and gelato to Nashville. The menu mirrors the chain’s other outposts and includes grilled artichokes, soppressata-studded pizzas, Bolognese-lacquered pasta, a short rib radiatori finished with Parmesan cream, fresh horseradish, wilted arugula and herbed breadcrumbs, a rotating chef’s daily pizza, classic Italian desserts, and a kids’ menu with staples from spaghetti to grilled cheese; at the bar they’ll pour cocktails such as the Quiet Italian Gentleman (Bulleit rye, Carpano Antica, Campari, and amaretto). The interior follows the brand’s clean red, black and white palette with marble-topped tables, glass orb lighting and greenery-lined vintage mirrors, and the on-site art is meant to tell a deeper story—most notably a Cumberland Swing Bridge mural by Scott Staples honoring Nashville history and vintage market prints photographed at an Italian flea market by Guido Prussia. From Fox Restaurant Concepts, the location will serve lunch, dinner, weekday happy hour and weekend brunch." - Delia Jo Ramsey
