"Since the closing of Corazon de Tierra, fans of chef Diego Hernandez have anxiously awaited his return to the Valle de Guadalupe. Hernandez and chef Ana Juncal are leaning into local guisados, Ensenada-style ceviches, Mexican breakfast dishes, and the Moroccan flavors of the previous tenant, El Mesón de Mustafá. Mornings are for huevos rancheros, spicy stewed stingray, and eggs Benedict mounted on sopes before an Intermezzo. At midday guests can sack on tortilla Española before a meal of Moroccan-spiced braised lamb in an approachable setting intended for locals." - Bill Esparza
