"Silvia Barban’s LaRina is a Fort Greene go-to. Now, she’s opened a follow-up called Briscola Trattoria in Crown Heights. While some menus show off with a lengthy entree list, Briscola Trattoria has two in the form of fried pork cutlet and fish. The primi section is lengthier and more interesting: There’s tomato-baked rice with meatballs and peas, squid ink pasta with cuttlefish and chile flakes, and sweetbread ragu. Oh, and there’s a dessert cart. This would be a nice meal post-Brooklyn Museum or Botanical Gardens." - Eater Staff
