"I visited a new Lebanese bakery at 6437 Westheimer Road called We’re Dough, which opened over the weekend with a big party in front of its open kitchen and gilded dining room and a lit-up sign that reads “How you doughin’.” The dough in the name refers to Lebanese breads and baked goods like saj, kaak, manoush, and lahme bil ajin; per local blogger Beth Muecke, the menu also offers sesame-sprinkled or za’atar-covered flatbreads, bread topped with Nutella or filled with meat, pizzas, pot pies, and croissants. The look centers on gold and black with plenty of vibrant black-and-white tile, and current hours are Monday–Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday 7 a.m. to 12 a.m." - Adele Chapin
