"On a visit to Hochelaga’s new Neapolitan‑style pizzeria from the principals behind Le Quartier Général and État‑Major, I found the appetizers (fried calamari, mozzarella di bufala and arancini) all satisfying, but the mains were mixed. The carbonara was well presented with a fresh egg yolk yet its bacon was bland and deprived the dish of depth, while the pizzas were the real attraction—whether the meat‑laden King of Ontario or a white pie with several mushrooms, bacon and pecorino, both showed good, crispy (if slightly sweet) dough. Desserts were largely ho‑hum—a chocolate‑cream sweet pizza needed retooling—though a churro with milkshake was a great, if mismatched, finish." - JP Karwacki
