"RakiRaki by Junya Watanabe, a ramen shop previously known as RakiRaki Ramen and Tsukemen, will reopen after a four-month hiatus under the new ownership of Junya Watanabe. The shop will be the first in the Bay Area to serve 'mochi ramen noodles', which have mochi powder added to the dough for extra chewiness. Watanabe, a former fashion designer, rebranded the shop to reflect his direct involvement and culinary vision after the initial franchise struggled. The menu will initially focus on takeout, featuring a $25 bento box with various non-ramen dishes. The shop is set to open for takeout and delivery starting November 23, from noon to 9 p.m. daily." - Luke Tsai
