"Operating inside downtown's Silver Dollar bar at 478 King St., this new Polish food concept touts “family recipes passed down by generations” and honors owner Victor Krupa’s late mother through classic dishes. The menu highlights pierogis, bigos and kielbasa, plus a $12 kielbasa plate served with hand-cut Polish fries and cucumber salad; pierogi creations priced at $7; $8 golabki (stuffed cabbage rolls); $4 potato pancakes topped with sour cream; and a $4 poppy seed roll for dessert. There’s also a $12 Reuben plate featuring sausage on rye marble bread and all-American options like sliders and wings for less adventurous eaters. Open three days a week — Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sundays until midnight — the concept plans to launch a mobile truck rolling through the neighborhood, expected to hit the road in mid-March." - Susan Stapleton
