"I've learned that Chef Justin Sutherland and his father, Kerry, have teamed up with the nonprofit Rondo Community Land Trust to reopen Golden Thyme Coffee and Cafe as an all-day restaurant; RCLT purchased Golden Thyme last year and has used the space as an incubator for Black and community-owned businesses. Under Sutherland's menu direction the cafe plans to offer breakfast and coffee with a smoothie and juice bar in the earlier hours, then sit-down lunch and dinner service; the team is renovating to add a full bar, about 50 seats inside and roughly 20–25 on the patio, and the menu will likely feature soul food classics and American fare." - Justine Jones
