Hey Cafe Adds New Roastery and Coffee Shop on Lafitte Greenway | Eater New Orleans

"On the edge of Treme, right on the Lafitte Greenway bike path and park, I learned that Hey Coffee Co opened as the first expansion for the nearly ten-year-old roaster — it's located near Broad at 2606 St. Louis Street and is roughly the same size as the original. The owner, Tommy LeBlanc, has expanded the roasting program and moved all roasting here, partly funded via Kickstarter to replace nearly spent equipment with a Diedrich IR-12 Roaster. The new spot has views of the green space, serves the staple pastries and coffee, and LeBlanc is looking to get a license to serve beer and wine; it's open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Tim Forster
