"Since opening in early April out on 12233 Ranch Road 620 near Anderson Mill, I found Charm BBQ Chicken — the new Korean fried chicken outgrowth of Charm Korean BBQ — serves its chicken in a multitude of ways: fried (obviously), tossed in sauces like red pepper sweet and sour, yangnyum, honey garlic and spicy barbecue, offered bone-in or boneless, as drumsticks or tenders, and even topped with onions (aka snow onions). There are non–Korean-fried-chicken dishes too, such as dumplings, deep-fried squid, bulgogi fries and deep-fried gizzards, along with heartier lunch and dinner plates like deep-fried tofu, beef bulgogi and tteok-bokki (spicy rice cake hot pot). For dessert there’s snow ice flake with or without additional flavors and fruit toppings. Drinks include beer (the chimac option comes with beer and the Korean fried chicken), soju, Korean rice wine makgeolli and cocktails, and the large space features indoor and outdoor seating plus a bar with a television screen. Its hours are 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday." - Nadia Chaudhury
