"Opening for limited dine-in service inside the renovated Murray Golf House at Bobby Jones Golf Course, Boone’s is run by the Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation and was designed as part of a project by students from Savannah College of Art and Design. Executive chef Austin Rocconi plans to serve upscale, New American cuisine with dishes drawing on his time in California, Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia. The drink program leans into whiskey and bourbon — including a take on the Bobby Jones cocktail made with peach-infused bourbon — along with several local beers on tap and wines by the glass. Seating will be limited during the pandemic across the dining room, covered patio, and veranda overlooking the course, with servers and other customer-facing employees required to wear masks; it’s unclear whether the golf course will enforce the citywide mandate on the property. Named for Augusta businessman and golfer Boone Knox and located at a historic public golf course opened in 1932, Boone’s will be open for lunch and dinner Wednesday–Sunday (reservations encouraged) with brunch forthcoming." - Beth McKibben
