"Queen of Cream, an Atlanta-based ice cream company, closed its Poncey-Highland location at Plaza on Ponce after one year, due to the impacts of Covid-19 on retail. The owner, chef Cora Cotrim, will focus on expanding online, wholesale, and catering businesses. Originally opened last September between Insomnia Cookies and the Majestic diner on Cleburne Terrace, the location is now closed. The original location in the Old Fourth Ward was closed in December 2019. Queen of Cream uses dairy from a family-run farm in Waynesboro, Georgia, to create unique flavors and offers its ice creams in pints at markets throughout Atlanta." - Beth McKibben
