Best Cake in NYC | Eater NY

"Self-taught baker Bassim Nasr has received some internet ire lately for his elevated take on a bacon, egg and cheese made with laminated dough, but he has been making some of the best pastries in the city since opening in 2020. Alongside the picture-perfect eclairs and cream puffs in the cold case up front, he often has cheesecakes and other futuristic looking cake slices offered as specials. The triple passionfruit cake is ethereal: light as a cloud, with just the right amount of sourness from the fruit, and sweetness from the layers of Chantilly cream." - Mike Chau
