"Lotti Dotti, a fun new Montrose patio bar boasting plenty of summery drinks, has officially opened its doors. The bar, originally scheduled for an April arrival, announced its June 15 debut at 601 Richmond Avenue on social media over the weekend, and its arrival comes just in time for those scorching summer days. As Eater reported previously, the bar took over the space formerly occupied by the Brooklyn Athletic Club, and will serve up booze from two different outdoor bars. Expect a bounty of frozen cocktails, punch bowls, and carafe-sized drinks, along with a food menu from former Presidio and Pax Americana chef Adam Dorris. Cocktails like margaritas mixed with sotol, blue curacao, and Tajin, are on the menu, along with a bright green libation called the 'Slime in the Ice Machine,' a frozen drink made with tequila, matcha, Brazilian spirit cachaca, and matcha. A bounty of bottled beers will be on offer, along with a list of biodynamic, organic, and natural wines. As far as the food is concerned, Dorris will oversee a menu packed with housemade charcuterie (that’s paired with cheese from Houston Dairymaids) and a towering cheeseburger that will only set diners back $8. During its 'soft opening,' Lotti Dotti was open until 2 a.m. Stay tuned for official operating hours." - Amy McCarthy
