"A Chicago-based chain is making its way to Dallas: Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen is set to open very soon in Uptown’s McKinney & Olive Building on the corner of McKinney Avenue and Harwood Street. This restaurant is designed to feed a crowd. “Our menu was created to be a ‘no veto-vote menu,’ meaning no matter who you are dining with, no matter what occasion or party size, there is something for everyone at Doc B’s,” founder Craig Bernstein said in a press release. That means plenty of burgers are on the menu — along with an “Angry Meatball” starter with Wagyu beef, spicy tomato, and ricotta; guacamole with sweet potato chips; brick chicken with fries; or a build-your-own Asian-flavored bowl. In a first for the chain, Doc B’s Dallas will offer breakfast. The morning menu will include granola, biscuits, acai bowls, “create your own” omelets, fanciful pancakes, and more. The restaurant, which includes an 80-seat patio, will officially open its doors next week, according to a PR rep. Check out the menus (including breakfast and brunch) for the Dallas location below." - Adele Chapin
