"Kimberly and Michael Manning didn’t have any restaurant experience when they decided to open Mack’s Wings in 2019. Kimberly, a former Marine who was working in insurance, and Michael, a former basketball player who was working as an attorney, found an empty storefront at the north end of the historic Greenwood District where they took a chance on wings. Michael developed the recipes but didn’t quit his day job, so you’ll usually find Kimberly behind the counter greeting regulars and fielding orders.
